I have vista Ultimate IE works O.K. it downloads e-mails etc. but will not download pictures on them have Red X in top right hand corner.

if ie blocked it when the pop up blocker was on your screen you should have gone onto it right clicked and downloaded it from the popup blocked bar!

If not then try the fire fox like someone said good luck.
I had that problem and it was a pain to sort out.

But I will make it easy for you

In explorer go to

c:\windows\syswow64\macromed\flash

(I'm presuming c: is where windows is installed)

There will be a file called flashutil9d (or something very similair maybe 9c or 9e at the end)

Right click this and run as administrator. That should install flash correctly.

It took me 2 days to find that out !
