Table not displaying correctly in ie?

When I resize the width of ie to a small area the table "jumps" down to the bottom of the page. Some people use a screen resolution of 800 by 600 so it won't look good. It seems to work fine in all the other browsers I tried it in (although safari can't render white-space: nowrap; that I will fix later probably with javascript. First of all make sure the table is not exceeding the width of around 750px in width just to make sure it fits in the 800 allotted for the 800 x 600 resolution. Next, make sure there are no elements being floated around it (including the table itself). If the table is dealing with floats, IE has problems and may force the table to go down below another element. In the world of cascading style sheets (CSS) this is known as a "drop". Drops are caused by A) incorrect calculations in available width of all elements with regard to the browser window and/or B) floating elements that cause the table to be pushed to the bottom (like if you "clear" a float).

Hope this helps!
