Yeah, IE7 is a little weird. Uninstall it by clicking on Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/remove Programs and the Show updates box at the top. When the list loads, find Internet Explorer 7 and click to remove it. After removal, close the control panel and restart the computer. It should be fine then.

About half way down the screen are the instructions on how to RollBack an IE install to a previous version (meaning before the Yahoo IE install).
leave it be and quit using IE. Use Firefox it safer and more secure
