Firefox and Opera are way more secure than IE 6, IE 7 is even more secure than IE6.

IE 7 made vast improvements on security, and actually is not quite but almost as secure as Firefox and Opera.

Firefox and Opera are faster though than any version of IE.

Usually use less memory and resources than IE.

Opera or Firefox are far more secure and just plain work better.

I prefer Opera.

Both have versions compatible with Vista
