hi yeah my computer is automaticaly scrolling up and down when i am in programs like IE and word, like just all of a sudden it just scrols, i have unstalled all microsoft updates and also run a full scan of the pc but i dnt know how to fix it i have even reinstalled my mouse and reconfigured it ?? what do i do thanks heaps???

If you are using a wireless mouse, sometimes they tend to act on their own. If it is a wireless, then move the receiver closer to the mouse and see if that clears it up. Either that or the scroller on the mouse is broken.

Sounds like you have a sticky/malfunctioning mouse scroll wheel or key on your keyboard. Try a different mouse and/or keyboard to find out.

Try a different mouse, the cause might be the scroll wheel from the mouse.
I was having the same probs with IE. The screen just suddenly scrolls down by about a quarter. I got rid of IE and went to Mozilla Firefox - no more problems and I am still using the same mouse.
